Welcoming the World to Vancouver
and the whole of the BC Lower Mainland
with Olympic and Paralympic themes,
including Peace, Solidarity, and Friendship.
People from all over the world have gathered in Vancouver to celebrate the Olympics, to compete in the Winter Olympic Games and the Paralympics, and to participate in the Cultural Olympiad. People from all walks of life, from many different cultures, from different religions, from different countries, and with different governments and systems. Yet with all these differences, they all have their humanity in common, and the Way To Happiness precepts celebrate those cross cultural values that we hold in common. Many of the people now here face opposition and hostility towards each other either politically between nations or within nations, or through differences in religion or culture. It is the goal of Way To Happiness BC Chapter to promote the cross cultural values which they have in common, and to reduce the potential for friction between these divergent groups.
Accordingly, our volunteers are distributing tens of thousands of free booklets to visitors and residents alike, and are making free PSA videos available to the media. For your free booklet or PSA DVD please click here
Spreading Calm Across a Turbulent World
This booklet is a common sense guide to better living. Our purpose is to provide the individual, the family, the small business, the corporate business, social groups, and our nation with the wonderful message of The Way to Happiness. With this booklet we are promoting multicultural values, and a positive community spirit that can improve life throughout our communities.

Police chiefs have reported substantial drops in crime rates; educators report significant improvements in student behavior; shopkeepers report reduced and even eliminated graffiti problems and reduced shoplifting; ethnic groups have reported increased tolerance and respect; business owners have reported reduced absenteeism, and improved morale; government agencies have reported improved relations with the public and reduced corruption at all levels; residents have reported safer streets and a renewed sense of community, and best of all, greatly improved personal happiness.
The power of the goodwill promoted by this booklet should not be underestimated. In areas of crisis, the broad distribution of this booklet has assisted in calming riots, quieting insurgency to the negotiating table, suspending hostilities in war zones, and even ending racial genocides.
